HAB-PREVENT™ is BlueCycle’s advanced algae cultivation platform is designed to remove dissolved nitrogen and phosphorus at the source.
By working with natural biological processes, HAB-PREVENT™ captures nutrients before they enter sensitive waterbodies, reducing bloom frequency and improving downstream resilience.

Restore Water Quality by Harvesting Algae

When algal blooms occur, communities need effective solutions with measurable results.
Algae harvesting physically removes biomass, nutrients, and toxins from the water, delivering clean highly oxygenated water that supports ecological recovery.
Instead of becoming waste, the recovered algae biomass is valorized into biofertilizer, renewable fuel, and other commercial products — closing the loop from liability to value.

The Algae Harvesting HFT™ system is proven to rapidly and efficiently remove algae, nitrogen, phosphorus, organic carbon, and toxic cyanobacteria from lakes, reservoirs, stormwater ponds, and canals.
Co-developed by BlueCycle and refined through years of field deployment, HFT™ provides measurable water-quality improvement, reducing bloom risk and nutrient recycling.

Convert Waste into Renewable, Low-Carbon Resources

Captured algae, biosolids, and organic waste no longer have to be disposal liabilities. Transformation closes the loop, converting biomass into renewable energy and biofertilizers.

Full-Cycle Hydrothermal Liquefaction System​​

HTL-360™ is BlueCycle’s hydrothermal liquefaction platform, designed to convert algae, biosolids, manure, and food waste into renewable biocrude oil while recovering valuable nutrients.
Using heat, pressure, and water, HTL-360™ transforms organic waste into low-carbon biofuel and fertilizer products, closing the loop and completing the BlueCycle.
